In August 2018, Caddy announced that 'The Caddicarus Show' would undergo further changes, such as getting moved to Saturday (for no disclosed reason) and the removal of the 'Slaughter or Salvage' verdict. In January 2017, Caddy discontinued 'Current Quickies', since he had grown tired of the formula, and launched a new show simply called 'Caddy', which covers new games, drum covers and various other gaming topics. In February 2016, Caddy made major changes to his upload schedule, which included him discontinuing most of his side shows aside from 'Current Quickies', and The Caddicarus Show being now uploaded weekly on a Sunday. Caddy would expand into more shows alongside 'The Caddicarus Show', such as 'Current Quickies', 'Caddy's Retrospectives', 'Tinker Time' and 'Drive-Thru Reviews'. The video was made originally as an 'audition tape' for NormalBoots when they were still recruiting creators.ĭespite Caddy being rejected, from here his channel grew in popularity and he began making gaming videos full time and developed several unique troupes to his videos such as his iconic opening theme tune and him rating the games he reviews by either "slaughtering" them (for games he dislikes) or "salvaging" them (for games he likes). ![]() After amassing less than 200 subscribers, Caddy tried game reviewing and uploaded his first video game review, which covered the PlayStation 1 game Rascal Racers, in May 2012. The videos were he created were random comedy sketches and music videos similar to that of Tobuscus, Caddy's main inspiration at the time. Caddy first created his YouTube channel on Septemwhen he was 17, but his first videos were very different to his current ones.
